Hayley Anselm
Hayley is a qualified Integrative counsellor and psychotherapist, and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). Hayley works with Individuals and couples in her private practice in Berkshire and has a keen interest in helping people to better understand themselves and make sense of their lives and relationships in order that they can be empowered to make informed choices. She brings a wealth of experience in working with depression and low mood, anxiety, addiction, grief and trauma.
Hayley completed a Master’s degree in Relational Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Roehampton.
Her training was completed through an organisation based in Harley Street, working with ex-offenders and the disenfranchised.
Hayley gained a wealth of experience working for a specialist bereavement service in London and spent a number of years working in a private psychiatric hospital in Surrey in both addiction services and general psychiatric settings. It was here that Hayley gained extensive experience working as a co-facilitator in group therapy settings. In addition to this, Hayley has embarked on further training with the NHS Tavistock clinic in group facilitation.
Hayley is deeply committed to her work and as such ensures that she continues to develop as a practitioner by undertaking regular training in various therapeutic modalities.
Prior to her training as a psychotherapist, Hayley enjoyed a successful career working in Business Development for a number of Blue chip technology firms.
