What size is the group I will be part of?
The typical group size is between eight and twelve people, with twelve being the maximum
How do you manage confidentiality?
We take confidentiality very seriously, and know that in order for each member of the group to get what they need out of the retreat, this is a central element to feeling safe.
Confidentiality and boundaries will be addressed at the outset of the retreat.
Every person who participates in the retreat is expected to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Do I need to have previously had, or currently be in therapy to attend?
There is no prerequisite to attending this retreat. This may be your first experience of therapy or you may have already begun your journey of self discovery through therapy or other channels.
All applicants are assessed prior to confirmation of attendance to ensure suitability for the program.
Can I attend with a partner, friend of family member?
Unfortunately not. It is important all members of the group are not known to one another.
There are many therapeutic reasons for this, which we will gladly discuss in more detail should you wish to know more.
What happens after the retreat?
All participants are offered a one to one online therapy session with a psychotherapist who facilitated the retreat.
What do I need to bring?
We ask all participants to come with an open mind and a willingness to take part. We understand that you may feel apprehensive or anxious about the process or group activities, this is completely normal! We ensure a safe space for all participants and we are available to support you throughout your journey.
Whilst we won't be spending extended periods outside, we do suggest you bring comfortable clothes and suitable outdoor wear for all weather. You may also wish to bring yoga wear or something similar.
What is the duration of the retreat and how much free time will I have?
The retreat starts after lunch on Day One and finishes at 5pm on Day Three. We
have a full therapeutic schedule on each day, typically between 9am and 5.30pm, with free time before breakfast and in the evenings.

All retreat activities are located on the ground floor, and accessible rooms are available. Should you require further information regarding your own specific needs, please get in touch so that we can discuss these with you.
